(NaturalNews) You've probably run into them before -- those seemingly random antagonizers who always end up diverting the conversation in an online chat room or article comment section away from the issue at hand, and towards a much different agenda. Hot-button issues like illegal immigration, the two-party political system, the "war on terror" and even alternative medicine are among the most common targets of such attackers, known as internet "trolls" or "shills," who in many cases are nothing more than paid lackeys hired by the federal government and other international organizations to sway and ultimately control public opinion.

Several years ago, Canada's CTV News aired a short segment about how its own government had been exposed for hiring secret agents to monitor social media and track online conversations, as well as the activities of certain dissenting individuals. This report, which in obvious whitewashing language referred to such activities as the government simply "weighing in and correcting" allegedly false information posted online, basically admitted that the Canadian government had assumed the role of secret online police. At the time, this was a great unknown to the general Canadian public.

Of course, the same type of online patrolling by the government is also happening in the U.S., particularly from the CIA and its infamous In-Q-Tel program. At a 2012 summit, former CIA director David Petraeus essentially admitted that the CIA has a covert online presence that it uses not only for data mining purposes but also to infiltrate online conversations for the purpose of protecting "national security" interests. Such interests, it turns out, include disrupting conversations that discuss topics like 9/11 truth, for instance, or U.S. involvement in giving weapons to Syrian rebels.

According to Occupy Corporatism, the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA), which was recently exposed by American hero and whistleblower Edward Snowden for its illegal surveillance programs, has devised a training program that literally scouts out hackers from American colleges and universities and recruits them to work for the government. Among the many duties sought from those enrolled in the National Centers of Academic Excellence in the Cyber Operations Program are "collection, exploitation, and response" activities to take place in the online environment.

"These 'cyber operators' are trained to become an elite team of 'computer geniuses' that are experts in computer hacking, digital communications, cyber intelligence -- for the purpose of spying on Americans, as well as conducting interactive digital psy-ops with users of the internet," explains Occupy Corporatism about the program.

Alleged former 'shill' admits that trolling operations are real
Then there is the occasional confession by a former employee of the government who fesses up about what is really taking place in secret behind the scenes. A recent public posting on a "conspiracy theory" forum -- conspiracy websites are typically the most heavily targeted by government officials -- admits that individuals are constantly being recruited and hired by shadowy groups and government-affiliated agencies to manipulate online discussions.

"Shills exist," writes this anonymous ex-shill following a lengthy explanation of how he was hand-selected to pose as a normal commenter and basically lie on forums and in comment sections. "They are real. They walk among you ... You should be aware of this," he adds.

It should be noted that the alternative news website where this confession was recently re-posted was asked by the conspiracy website where it was originally posted to take it down, claiming that it is "libelous and utterly false," even though it does not name any specific names or identify who is behind these and other shill operations. When asked for an explanation, the conspiracy website in question simply stopped responding.

Unless you have closely examined anti-smoker propaganda, most of what you think you know about smoking will be wrong. What are the facts? Monsanto and the other big ag-biotech companies have developed reliable, biologically insect-resistant and herbicide-tolerant commodity crops that benefit people, farmers and the environment, and are nutritionally identical to their non-GM counterparts.
GM insect-resistant crops contain a gene that codes for a bacterial protein that’s toxic to an insect pest, but not animals or people. Insecticides are toxic chemicals that kill insects indiscriminately, both harmful and beneficial. They’re also poisonous to other animals—people included. Insect-resistant crops have reduced insecticide use. Biological solutions for insect pest problems were Rachel Carson’s dream.
Insect-resistant GM corn also decreases human and animal exposure to mycotoxins, highly toxic and carcinogenic compounds made by fungi. The fungi that produce mycotoxins follow insects into plants; insect-resistant plants have no insect holes for fungi to enter and therefore no mycotoxins.

Farmers don't have to buy Monsanto seed, nor is anyone preventing them from saving and replanting any seed they want, except for patented seed they've signed an agreement not to save and plant. Farmers buy seeds from Monsanto and other ag-biotech companies because their costs decrease and their profits increase. If they didn't, farmers wouldn't buy them again.
If the popular mythology about farmer suicides, tumors and toxicity had an ounce of truth to it, these companies would long since have gone out of business. Instead, they’re taking more market share every year. There's a mismatch between mythology and reality. Maybe it's worth remembering that technology vilification is about as old as technology itself. What's new is electronic gossip and the proliferation of organizations that peddle such gossip for a living.

In 2004 I saw a letter to a farmer who had applied for gov't subsidies and the letter from the gov't of Canada said that due to their SATELLITE IMAGING they determined that the farmer had x acres of this crop and x acres of that crop. If the satellite imaging was able to determine that in 2004, the technology has only gotten better.

We can say the same about many other health topics as well. We don't have to agree with every article written here but common sense should prevail.
People that dislike this website have the choice to unsubscribe instead of continuously bashing just about everything said here.
I myself don't agree with every article posted but thanks to this website, I've learned a lot about the importance of eating the right foods and avoiding the dangerous stuff.

Some of them HAVE to be paid; note the number of posts here that have nothing to do with the article but are just pro-big-government trolls, like the pro-GMO post above. How anyone can justify putting human DNA into food crops is beyond me, not to mention the horrific effects on organic life that researchers in other countries have been finding.
Example: Bees have been dying by the tens of thousands after exposure to GMO crops; one bee study discovered that bees were dying en masse during the study and the researchers found that the GMOs weaken the bees' resistance to parasites by weakening the intestinal walls. A study of pigs in Australia found the same effect in pigs. Makes you wonder what it does to people.


When they harrass a person really bad, not just once but constantly, they will try to get them to cry or feel so bad from the way they are being treated by "people" on the internet that they won't comment anymore or share their experiences or knowledge. Yesterday a certain troll told me I should delete my disqus profile. J Gohde (although it was erased by moderators along with my comment) insulted me and then asked me "how I manage to breathe" all while knowing I have severe persistent asthma an MCS and can't even go outside anymore, that I have almost died from respiratory illness. They are here to make us hurt. To psychologically and emotionally torture people who "know too much" or "talk to much" about the truth. They want us to "shutup." This is an old program with a new twist since the internet gives them more room to play. People have been harrassed and murdered for telling the truth--especially retired military. They don't want us to communicate. That's how it makes sense what they do. For example: Where did Marc Authier go? We can hope he just got sick of the internet and found something better to do. But I noticed that he was being harrassed by gangs of trolls constantly right before he stopped commenting. I can't say I know that's why someone who regularly comments would just stop almost completely, but I understand the likeliness of that because the harrassment is THAT BAD. They make people feel terrible about themselves and when nobody defends them they just quit commenting. Do you see?? They do have an evil agenda. And it makes perfectly evil sense.

I'm not so sure that they are close to winning. I think they realize the movement is growing toward the "alternative medicine" movement. If they had not, the Senate would not have just declared October 7-12th Naturopathic Medicine week.
Facts are this: We know Big Pharma and the FDA share the same bed. We know they put profit first over patient care. So why then would they really care about declaring a week of notoriety for naturopathic physicians? And why are they slowly legalizing naturopathic medicine which is in 17 states now with the recent passing of Colorado.
They claim they value the medicine, but yet they keep naturopaths in a limited role. Colorado is a great example. Due to the opposing view on vaccines held by most ND's, they will not allow ND's to see patients under 2 years of age fearing they pose a risk to the patient. Meanwhile, everyone clamors in excitement that they gained licensure, but yet they fail to realize they are being told how they will practice medicine.
The most disturbing thing about this entire thing is that what I thought was an astute group of individuals within the profession is filled mostly with, what I see, as gullible individuals believing that they will get equal recognition as MD if they are accepted by insurances. Perhaps its because all I see are the people who are in school, and the majority make up a younger population.
The older MD's (the generation before the baby boomers) got out of medicine because the insurances dictated how they were to practice. While I disagree with the allopathic philosophy, the allopathic model today is NOT what it was in the 1800's and early to mid 1900's. If you read the books from that time frame, it's a different philosophy. Now its just profit. But these individuals left for that very reason, and now these young gullible ND's are just throwing away their profession to the insurances and government.
The naturopathic profession is going to be swallowed up by the government and insurances. I would venture to say that the best naturopaths will likely be the ones who don't accept insurances, so remember that if and when your health fails. As someone who has been a PA in the allopathic model for 13 years, and completed 2 years of ND school, I can tell you that the Naturopathic profession is not what it once was. It is becoming allopathic. Still far better, but they have lost their sense of origin and are quickly losing their independence. This is what is really going on in the profession that I doubt you will hear from anywhere else.


Looks to me like that "John" guy has been following you around the way the trolls follow me (possibly under different names but he seems to know you, doesn't he?). I can see so easy who they are...like a psycho-circus of dim witted, poo throwing monkeys ganging up. It's nothing new, really, just the internet version of harrassment. My dad has been harrassed since Vietnam. He watched my grandpa get murdered by these gangs of creeps--shot in the chest with some kind of unconventional weapon by some guy in the bushes. They had him committed after the war to shut him up, or atleast void his credibility, one technique they often use. That way he couldn't testify in court. They just went down the bloodline and the rebellious ones like me get targeted too, physically and online. They target people with "unconventional" weapons that will slowly torture and kill. And most nobody knows...even many who are targets don't know. They like it when we stay at home and don't talk to anyone ever. Makes their job easy. And then when we do talk, they say trigger words like "tinfoil hat" or "conspiracy theorist" or they insult your worste illness, like Jonh Gohde down there asking me how I "manage to breathe" (with severe asthma).


Now, why would I know that you suffer from severe asthma? Do you honestly think that I am your physician? I just thought that you lacked the I.Q. to be able to do that little trick.
But, now that I know, I am NOT surprised at all that you suffer from major health problems, at such a young age. Unlike you, being in my 60s, I suffer from virtually nothing; except perhaps you.
I have been in the natural health business for over ten years. I, also, managed to cure an adult female, in my own chat room, without health insurance or money of diverticulitis using just vitamin A. Unlike you, she was very grateful for the little tip that I gave her. She told me that her female physician gave her a dirty look and insisted upon taking her picture, when she found out that she was no longer suffering from a life threatening colon blockage.
Natural health works and is basically FREE to all who bother to work on their lifestyle.


Normal social behavior, such as learning ones place amongst the bullies, jocks, nerds and rich kids, right? That was my experience in the government schools. I learned quite a lot about fighting in the playground...
But to your point, sometimes homeschool can be done in a sheltered manner, I would agree, and that's why many in homeschools make an effort to network with others, and have group classes, or partake in things such as 4-H, Boy Scouts, etc. Maybe do a little more research into it before making a blanket judgment.


Yahoo groups is where I found my first chat groups. I joined a goats list serve and learned how to do holistic organic goat husbandry. For 5 years it was better than university education but unfortunately the vets and medical students entered and started sewing seeds of doubt. Methods that have worked for millennia like diatomatious earth and artimesia for parasite control were ridiculed and folks who tried raising goats organicly were called cruel monsters. When we proved the effectiveness with fancy microscopes we were the ones called shills and fakers. Many old school herbalists quit the sight because of harassment. I have an organic dairy and a fake facebook account so I can learn without being a lightening rod for trolls.

I did use the name of a troll in it, but everything I said about her/it was true.
